Make sew the pillow. I'm starting out with these pillow inners and they're 20 by 20 inches, and I just picked them up from Ikea they're called inner. They were $ 2.99 and I picked them up in the store, but they have them on the website too. So you're just gonna want to start by cutting the packaging off, and I found this like oddly satisfying because it's all tightly wound and then when you pull it out it just like poof pops into a little pillow. However, the pillow does need a little fluffing. I cut these big obnoxious tags off. Hopefully, they're not those like under penalty of law do not remove tags, because I certainly don't need that in my life. So here's the fabric I'm going to be using and the gonna trust that the IKEA label was right and these are actually 20 by 20-inch pillows. So I'm just going to go ahead and measure out 20 inches and go ahead and give it a mark. And then, since it's 20 by 20, I'm going to measure out 40 inches, the other way a market and I'm just going to go ahead and get my fabric a cut. And now I have a piece of fabric that is 20 inches by 40 inches.
I'm gonna take my iron and I'm gonna iron in a little bit of a fold about 1/4 of an inch because this is the seam. That's gonna be left open and I'm gonna have to do as my final seam. So it'll just be a lot easier to do if it's ironed and you'll see so now, I'm gonna fold, my fabric in half and I'm just gonna, go ahead and start hot gluing. So can we just pause for a second so that I can show my mom this clear little plate that I set my hot glue gun on? She was watching one of my videos once and she's like you can't just let your hot glue gun on your carpet. That's dangerous and I was like I have a little plate. I set it on so here's that clear little play that I set my hot glue gun on. Don't worry mom! You raised me right. It's all good! Now, back to the hot gluing, I'm just gonna go ahead and hot glue.
The two pieces of fabric together on the end, to make a seam once one side is done, I'm going to go ahead and do the other side. Now, once your hot glue has dried on both sides, you can go ahead and turn your fabric inside out or not inside out. I guess this would be right side now. You can go ahead and put your pillow inside the sleeve okay. So here's the part that I was talking about earlier now. We have to close this final seam, so by folding it over and ironing. This part makes it a lot easier to glue, and it also makes it look like a cleaner seem like almost as if you'd actually sewed it sewed it is it sewn it sewn it almost as if you actually sewn it so, like I said, I'm just going To run some hot glue along the little-folded edge and just press the two ends together and to that just like that, you're all done so here's a quick shot, the final project in our house.
