They have a beautiful outdoor patio, which is used all summer long, but they had never used it through the winter and that's where we came in. We were asked to decorate the patio for the holidays, but they wanted it to work well than last. Throughout the whole winter season, we were lucky because of furniture we had to work with was perfectly modern and clean line and a good candidate for layering. We knew we wanted to cozy it up and make it feel nice and warm for the winter and a great way to do that is just to layer in textiles and had lots of fun and color and the pieces. We were starting with her great building blocks.
We had three fire pits to work with, so we were able to create little seating areas around them, which is perfect gathering around the fire. We also brought in a long dining table and two wicker benches, it's great for a communal, dining and a perfect surface for a holiday tablescape because really all the other surfaces are either fireplace are very small side tables. So, just in case people want to dine out there. We gave them that option. I think our project was very doable, yeah and quite simple: taking good-looking elements and putting them together. That's riverside sugarplum fairies, so we freaky to like it can be Halloween. Don't wait up on it yeah we had glass, terrarium houses of different sizes, some fairy lights on a battery pack, but to hide the actual battery pack. We filled the bases with pine cones or that fake snow became this little bit of sparkle, but then the organic quality was nice.
We line them up along the middle of the dining table. I really like the arrangements you made. Thank you, there, pretty low maintenance, easy to do a variety of different types of eucalyptus and some berries, so they felt holiday, but a still very wintery and felt like the rest of the space really, and I like that they were located exactly by refreshing. The water of the last four couple of weeks so big definitely says pine cones. We took out all the summer ferns, which were replaced by some firs, some spruce, some cedar, you yeah perfect little transit for exactly how all different pot size is a variety of evergreens which will last long into the winter time for a coffee break. We need to warm up agreed.
The best part of the day would have had to be lunch. I think this is the nicest coffee break we've ever had. I don't think I never been served lunch with a silver dome like that. I was straight out of a movie right. It was a pretty great place to work for a few days, oh yeah, whoever treated very wealthy colorize. We really pulled from the interior of the Shangri-la Hotel. The restaurant, which this patio is just off of, has some beautiful shades of green lots of neutrals, so we wanted to rip off. Of that. I feel like the pillows had a big impact in the space just because there are so many of those.
I really were how many to be there was 52 is what we just bring in all those textures and the fur. I think, like the velvet felt really washing and warm, and then, of course, like the brown fur, the cream fur you're gonna cheat. This pillow cover as a seat cover no whatever, no, not that cute. It'S what makes this after furniture feel cozy and warm and very winter appropriate. Yes, like a press key, exactly make, we mailed it now the most important part of what made it the most Christmassy are the for Christmas, treats we brought in yeah.
