A lot of them had used the fur rogue to turn into a cushion while mercury uses an actual cushion, and so it took my inspiration from her because she is an actual cushion and put the face of the chair into the cushion I'm so easier. There was no someone literally, I sniffed the holes in the back of cushion pop the lid in which I'm gon na show you how I made it in the video now. I will also link below here's an IKEA store, video as well a front, a check it out. She used a white fur cushion and she spread her legs gold worth I've gone for like a pinky, Mongolian and she's skin, like you think it is and stuff like I've used on mine. So what you will need for this DIY, so I had a two idea. I got the Marius three around 15 still and comes in black white and my common different. It doesn't matter what color you got because you're going to be spraying that, finally, then you're going to need your to spray things that you're gonna use your surface primer from Rust-oleum. You may see me use this in tons of spray painting projects last year. My share is the force, obsessive spray, painting, everything, copper engulf and it's not changed for this year, so surface primer and then your corner of choice.
So I went with a bright gold for this because I have this very soon on my office and if you saw my IKEA hack, where my office table and I sprayed that exec white gold as well. So I went with bright gold because I want to keep with that coat. It came in my house, then you're gon na need your cushion and I did see a gorgeous fur rogue in Jones towards the smaller ones and it was 20 euros and I was kind of torn between the fur rug. I'm buying a pad and making a cushion. But then, when I went to TK Maxx, I got the fur a cushion and it was slightly here. I think this cushion was Terry TRL. What is super fluffy? You can get much cheaper alternatives. How we looking Penny's have a look in and done as well. I didn't see your fluffy cushion adults, but we did have to work but have a little shop around.
I only have a few shops, but I remember seeing in TK, Maxx and HomeSense really fluffy cushions and before about the last little pink corner, my local shop, the flash town. So I was delighted with that. So if you are new to using spray paint - and I always recommend using the surface primer - a lot of people skip this step and then they get disappointed when they're, gold or copper spray paint chips off after like a bit aware, or they knocked it. And when you're spraying on like metal or untreated wood, I would always use a surface primer and my 10 pounds of spray paint. I have from a previous project. So this by your hands gets you lovely little projects, and so you've got a couple of steals aerospace. Neither team pounds so other doll spray paints. I always recommend using them outside and I can't leave out a nice sunny morning today, but if you are using them in the shed just make sure it's well-ventilated and don't breathe in any of their mixed. I gave my chair one coat of primer, the primer it will give the drawing trying on the can, but it was actually touching dry wood in half an hour. It was quite windy today as well and so make sure it's fully dry and spray. You're primary go on home cup tea and then come back and down apply your coat up golf. I found it easier to assemble the legs and start over spraying them flat. So I just assemble the legs and then I spray them because I was able to kind of get into each like milk and cranny. If my camera is rocking at Lundy's knocking to the tripod, she is such a brat.
I applied one coat of gold and then once that was dry, I just kind of turned it upside down, checked on the areas where the spray might have been kind of uneven and like just went over them, so you could say I kind of applied one-and-a-half coats Once my legs were drying in sight and I came in and I decided to tackle the cushion pact and of this DIY, so this is really simple. The cushion I bought is roughly 20 centimeters by 20 centimeters. So if you can keep an eye out for a cushion pad that size, because basically, the base of the stool fits in perfectly to the back of this cushion. So I assembled a pop unzipped everything popped in, as you can see once again zip to close, and then I felt for where the little there are four little kinds of I'm gon na say dots. That's my third screw hole that does not the word eater. Basically, the little things were four of them, and I just snipped the fabric and popped the little things true cuz. These are gon na stay on the actual legs, and this is how you assemble your chair to your legs. If that makes any sense like it was so simple, I just used little fabric scissors and a half for my kid put.
A sharp scissors will take the job as well. Once my legs were all dry, I brought them inside and I do screwed back on. I turned my base of the cushion up upside down pop the legs on just look. I used, to my own hand, screwdriver and put the instructions that IKEA instructions, like don't drill, but I used the drill. Sorry, one of the good things about you think the fur cushion is. I was wondering how, when people make these first ills unless a be use the fur rug and they sell cushion, I was wondering what do they do when it gets dirty or if they want to clean it. So I really like the idea of using the cushion, because it means you can just once if, like something happened, the top and it got dirty or something happened or Blanca or paws on it and you can unscrew it take. The clothes should take the padding and wash the cushion. If that makes any sense, if you can't get your hands on a sofa cushion, I would recommend using the foofy cushion over and solving the question. Just because like it is going to get dirty over time - and it is mics can't be able to take it off and clean it. So once your chair is all assembled if yours to enjoy so I have mine in the office at the moment.
